Cadenza: The Kiss of Death - A Mystery Hidden Object Game (Full) App Reviews

I was glad to see a lot of improvement in this game (than the 1st one in this series). The graphics were great, the storyline good, and the HOS and puzzles fun.

Bought Cadenza: KoD on sale for $2.99 despite not being interested in the music theme. The game was definitely worth it and Big Fish should have more games at this price. The difficulty was customizable. Characters mouths didnt move but the graphics were good overall. The HOS employed several unique mechanics and really elevated the game, although the objects themselves were a little too easy to find. My only big gripe was how the game forced you along a very predetermined path, with little ability to wander around or complete objectives in any order but the set one. But that might make the game ideal for people who need more help or are new to the genre.

Loved everything no regrets. Fantastic story line and I hated to have it end. More please !

I was so excited to see this Mad Head/Cadenza series game. I had great expectations, and I felt that for the most part it lived up to them. Especially at the sales price. The good: great graphics and background music, beautiful cut scenes, a nice change of pace from medieval castles or fairy worlds. Varied HOPs were nice, a great storyline that holds together, and good character interaction. I liked that there was a story worth telling, bur understand that some reviewers didnt. the so-so: slightly-too-easy mini games and sometimes i felt as if searching for golden tickets and morphing objects in bery scene and game took me out of the story. the bad: the map is hard to find (in the menu) and once you do, it isnt very helpful. And the hint button wasnt super helpful either. Still, definitely worth the sales price and recommend it as a buy! Hope everyone is well...

Great game. Really like the idea that I can go back and pick up morphing items that I missed the first time.

Cadenza: Kiss of Death is wonderful, and well worth five stars! I have played the previous Cadenza game and was not as impressed. Mad Head Games has really improved with this one! The story line is coherent and interesting. As in the previous game, their Hidden Object scenes give you a bonus with each Found Object, and you get an extra item in the end. Love the little Star Tickets to be collected in each scene, too. There are additional Morphing Objects in your HO scenes. Your fiancé has been poisoned, and you want to find ingredients for a cure. This takes you on another tour of New Orleans and the area. Even a swamp boat ride! Interesting visual effects, like the squirrel handing you a game piece. Definitely worth the price asked, and a beautiful diversion!

I have liked all the Mad Head games Ive played. It is great to have a HOG that doesnt have a bunch on supernatural elements for once. I also loved the location and characters. Music good. An excellent feature is being able to go back (in the Extras) and find all the little starred tickets that I missed the first time through. Quality game.

I think this game is inappropriate for minors. It really bugged me that this was so much about alcohol, getting fingerprinted and the cops in the first 5 minutes. Rather racist in my opinion. Bad on you guys.

I like the game more adventuresome, not too many hidden objects scenes;the ones they had was varied. Nice story lines. Also I also like that characters interact well to gather.

This game was awesome! The storyline was interesting and the hop(s) were fun to do. The graphics and music were great. I have played a lot of game and this one is rated one of the top ones. Worth the price !!

Once again, a great game by Mad Head, with beautiful art-deco style New Orleans graphics, and interesting cut-scenes. Objectives were updated regularly, inventory was labeled (and yes, there were those beloved plus items) and yes, people there was a teleport map! You just had to access it by going to the menu! Dracyy, as a Dream Team Elite member, I am surprised you didnt realize there was even a map! Loading was instantaneous between locations. You collect ticket stubs, and in the HO scenes alone, there are morphing objects, so nothing to distract you in playing the game. The HO scenes were quite varied and interesting. The puzzles and games were fun, although were a bit simplistic. The game was very interactive, and you got to use detective tools in the bonus adventure, which was kind of neat. The game ran glitch-free and had a nice flow to it. The story was interesting and I did not feel like there was too much dialogue. That actually enhanced the game and made it feel like you were in a pulp fiction crime novel. The only reason that I deducted a star was that I felt the game was way too short, even with the bonus adventure. No RATS either, always a plus! I definitely want a sequel to this story, but please can you give us a longer game? However, the price was right, as the game only cost $3.00! Fun, logical and very interactive, I urge the Dream Team Elite to play this game! I just love Mad Head games; they are much more unusual than ERS or Elephant, or Elefun. More like EIPIX! This game was absolutely fantastic I enjoyed playing this game for hours. when I first seen it I knew that it was going to be great,because I played your other New Orleans game and I jumped up a chance to play this one. You guys Deserve an award this is the best game I ever played ever, and I played a lot of hidden object game ,in the hundreds. Keep up the great work. I love it I only right a review on games that took me for a ride. Let me say this game was out of this world. I was in the movie . I felt as if I was there. Lol It was awesome

I love this game. It has very good graphics.

Overall this game is very well done. The characters are interesting & have decent dialogue/interactions, the graphics are great, & the music is good, serving as a nice background. The difficulty is customizable to fit everyones preference & the hidden object scenes/mini games, although not very hard, are fun. There are only two things I fell could have been better. Accessing the map is inconvenient because you have to search in the menu to find it but since the scenes are set up so well, I didnt need the map much anyway. The other thing are the HOS where you have to search for & uncover pairs to match. It really comes down to preference here, but I dislike those. Overall this is an outstanding game!

I rarely write reviews but this game has it all...great, logical and engaging storyline, fun and interesting puzzles and HOPs, beautiful art. Loved it.

Another superb game from Mad Head! Engaging story with innovative puzzles. Hints and map are flawless, and the music is so well suited to the different scenes in the game.
